At approximately 11:50pm on April 3, 2008, I was texted about the worst terrorist attack in my blog's history. It was promptly removed. But the message can be viewed as a comment below. I am working on an upcoming piece and I forgot to close the window. I guess one can never be too careful. Whoever this "Kevin" is, he must get his own blog or leave comments if he wishes to express himself.

Kevin Is Great
Kevin Has Hijacked Douglas' blog and would like to use this opportunity to bring the world's collective attention to an unspeakable injustice that the American people have complacently accepted for nearly forty years. I am of course referring to the glaring deficiencies in the scoring system of the Family Fued. Be it Richard Dawson, That guy who I think killed himself (I think his name was Ray something-or-other), or even Louie Anderson the hosts of the Fued have all charmed us into overlooking a conspiracy of Davinci Code-esque proportions, The scoring is backwards... wait a second and let that sink in... that's right BACKWARDS. The system as it stands rewards contestants points in descending order according to how common the answer is, thereby making the most common answer the largest contributer to each question's available score. This, however, is the opposite of how it should be. The least common and most likely difficult answer to guess should be weighted more heavily because, as science has proven, out of any group of 100 people some of them are going to be either batshit-crazy or profoundly stupid. Now the few of you who haven't given up on my inane ramblings might be axing yourselves "what does this mean for me?" Well I'm glad you asked. Firstly, if you have ever lost on the Fued it means you were probably boned out of your monies and that you should develop a deep-seeded and festering resentment. And for those of you whom have won, you should be ashamed of yourselves for exploiting the poor people from the first group like that. What did they ever do to you? Now for the small segment of the population who don't fall between those two categories you are the most victimized of them all (except for the people who lost) because you dared to believe in the dream that was the Family Fued only to have the man pull the wool over your eyes for the last 32 years. So in conclusion the Family Fued is an awesome game show, and while it may have robbed America of its innocence worse than racisim and rockin roll combined I wish it were on right now.
I don't know who this "Kevin" but he is the new DB Cooper of the blogosphere
